bursar-l: Convenience Fee Implementation

Hello!

We are researching the possibility of implementing a convenience fee model at our university. I know this has been a topic on the list before, but I was hoping that schools who have opted to pass on credit card fees to students would be willing to answer a few questions for us?  1. What was the reaction of students/parents when your institution implemented a convenience fee?

 1. What was the reaction of students/parents specifically regarding the discontinuation of Visa acceptance?

 1. How did you market to the student/parent population?

 1. Did your institution experience any loss in enrollment during or after the convenience fee implementation?

 1. How are you managing in person requests for credit card payment?

 1. How are you handling phone requests for credit card payment, particularly from students/parents not having computer access?
