Re: bursar-l: Banner Schools-Loan Disbursement Reconciliation

UMB reconciles every week. We do SQL reports off Banner data for loan
information by reference ID. The reports show what has paid, what is in
Y status in RPALDSB, but not paid and what is held in the collector
file. The reports are generated weekly and sent both to the Bursar's
Office and Financial Aid. The Bursar's Office inputs the information to
an Excel report that summarizes all the activity under each reference ID
that has been uploaded into RPAEPMT. Obviously, you need someone who is
well versed in Banner and SQL to set up the reports.

Please excuse the duplicate posting.

Has any Banner school know a way, or has developed a way, to track the
loan files coming in as opposed to what is posted to student accounts
during disbursement? This would be to identify funds that need to be
returned as well as reconcile the GL loan account.
