We assess a late payment charge based on the balance due on the account.
We run the process monthly, up to three times, in the Fall term and
again in the Spring term. (The Fall process catches any overdue Summer
balances.)

Less than $200.00
$0.00

         $200.00 to $499.99
$10.00 per month

         $500.00 to $1,999.99
$50.00 per month

         $2,000.00 to $4,999.99
$100.00 per month

         $5,000.00 to $9,999.99
$150.00 per month

         Greater than $9,999.99
$200.00 per month

Next academic year the schedule will be as follows:

Less than $200.00
$0.00

         $200.00 to $499.99
$20.00 per month

         $500.00 to $1,999.99
$50.00 per month

         $2,000.00 to $4,999.99
$150.00 per month

         $5,000.00 to $9,999.99
$250.00 per month

         $10,000.00 to $14,999.99
$300.00 per month

         $15,000.00 and greater
$350.00 per month

Once an account is assigned to a collection agency, we write the account
off and no further late charges are assessed.

Hello again! You have all been so helpful with the registration policy
that of course, I need your help again. I do have a compilation of all
the responses on the registration policies and those of you who would
like that - just email me and I will send it to you.

This time I would like to know if you charge a fee for students with a
past due balance - if so is it a service charge that is percentage
based, is it more of a late fee that is based on how much is owed or
what.

My next question is- if you have an internal collection area - what
percentage do you charge the students for internal collection?
