bursar-l: FW: Non payment drops

We drop on the day of the payment deadline in a batch process. After our payment deadline about 10 days before classes start, payment is due on the day the student enrolls. We manually go through and drop students who do not pay or have financial aid or other holding protecting their enrollment. We drop those that enroll and don't pay through our census date, 4 weeks into the semester. Until this time all drops are at full forgiveness of tuition and fees.

After the census date we put holds on any unpaid balances and send past dues notices. Students are given about 2 weeks to pay in full or they are dropped from everything without forgiveness of tuition and fees.
