Marg,
It sounds like you ran some of the steps in official mode and populated
the data before ready. The only way to remove the data and run
everything again utilizing the new rules is by having someone in your IT
department go behind the scenes and remove the data directly from the
tables.
The process documentation says that you can use a SQL script to do this,
but I've never seen one. The table that holds the data I believe is
TBRACCD which is where all accounting data is held. Chances are you
need a script because there probably are flags in other tables that
relate to this data so just removing the numbers themselves would not be
enough.
Another idea and this could be used for preparing the statements before
fixing the data-if you prepare the IRS file and use that to make paper
statements you can edit the data in the file. This could work if you
are looking at a small population of students with issues.

Good evening.
We are having a problem with populating our 1098T boxes in TSATAXN.
The boxes were populated after the 1st run of TSP1098. Upon review, I
realized that a rule change was necessary. Our problems occurred after
I ran TSP1098 the 2nd time. We can view our tuition and
scholarship/grant info behind the TSATAXN form, but the boxes won't
populate. I ran the process a few times after making rule changes, but
it seems as though it deletes the initial data and only populates if
there is new or amended information from a rule change.
If anyone is familiar with this problem, please offer your suggestions.
